News Title:  Hub City Week 3 Performance Rankings

 1. Air Force [3-0]
Jason Mercer leads the only undefeated team in the league, but he has plenty of help from Rob Cargile, Marcus Morris and Louis Davis. Air Force used a strong second half and an injury to Emmett Thomas to put away the previously undefeated Hot Shotzz. An intriguing matchup in Week 4 sees Mercer take on one of the league's best perimeter defenders in The Supers' Shomari Glasco.

2. C'Mon Son [2-1]
With their only loss coming at the hands of Air Force, C'Mon Son has looked very impressive. Ross Hardwick has been the catalyst dishing out dazzling passes leading to highlight play after highlight play. James Perkins has been the team's consistent scorer, Curtis Williams has been just deadly from long range and Armond Ivory and Saul Lankston have been problems on the wings and in the post. It's still surprising to think this squad has actually lost a game.

3. Hot Shotzz [2-1]
Easily the surprise of the first 3 weeks, Hot Shotzz has been revamped. The addition of Dre Jones, Sequel Brown and Emmett Thomas has given the team much needed size and athleticism. They still have gus Payne spotting up from long range and have used that formula to realize success in the early going. But how will they respond to adversity with Thomas likely sidelined a few weeks with injury and a Week 4 matchup with the hungry Young Legends on the horizon.

4. The Showstopperz [2-1]
After a first game hiccup, The defending champions have slowly rounded into form. The team has added a shooter in Parnell Jones and a reliable, athletic, defensive-minded post presence in Rueven King. Damon Banks is off to a great start and Jerald Smoots continues to look like the league's best slasher and a top perimeter defender. The champs will get their biggest test thus far when they face off against C'Mon Son. We'll see how they fare.

5. The Supers [2-1]
The Supers have 6 players that are capable of scoring in double figures every game. Shomari Glasco has been more aggressive offensively and the addition of Greg Grant has helped add more scoring power to a team once most notable for their defense. However, the question is whether the team can still play lock down defense with their new personnel. We'll see in Week 4 as Shomari Glasco and the Supers face Jason Mercer and Air Force.

6. Long Beach Knights [2-1]
Carl Montgomery, Efram Hawkins and Herbie Brown have emerged as the Knights new big three. But with the loss of Devin Sheridan on the wing, the team may have lost an outside scoring threat and from the looks of their pay against Street Legends, they have plenty of guys trying to fill that void rather than playing to their strengths. They get a chance to find their true identity in Week 4 against FAX.

7. Young Legends [1-2]
Young Legends are an early disappointment, but have suffered losses to two of the top 4 teams. Still the team has had trouble getting players to be consistent in their play and their attendance. Once a team considered one of the favorites to win it all, the legends are starting to look like a middle of the pack team at best.

8. D.A.W.G.S. [1-2]
DAWGS added some familiar faces and it resulted in their first victory in a win over FAX. However, a letdown in the second half that turned what should've been in a comfortable victory into a one point nail biter has us questioning if the excitement the new guys brought has already begun to fade. Street Legends will get a chance to put that theory to the test against DAWGS in Week 4.

9. Street Legends [0-3]
Street Legends let one get away in an overtime loss to the Knights. They simply didn't have enough to close out in the extra period. On the bright side Devan Jones is having an All Show caliber season. However, Mauricio will have to step his play up and lead his team with better shooting consistency if they are to stand a chance in Hub City.

10. FAX [0-2]
FAX has shown promise in both their losses. They seem to be able to rise to the level of the competition but also must battle themselves in the process. Against The Showstopperz, they let up in the second half and came out of the gates limp in a lackluster first half against the DAWGS. This team must put together 40 minutes of good basketball if they are going to win a game.
