| Frankly, I can't be sure but I'm relatively certain the numbers probably show Yao Ming may be better for the Rockets than Tracy is right now. And while a number of injuries is regardless an important thing to mention, it doesn't excuse him into being pitied as that high of a top player. Kobe has had injuries, and no doubt he's slowed down and become a smarter player, but these are the best years of his game. TMac gets injured a few times, and loses like 5 steps... accept that he's just not up there and move on. Perhaps if he gets healthy again and actually takes some time to hone his game, he can get back up in that top 5... though I don't see it. |

| Top 3? Hmmm...Kobe, Lebron, CP3. And if you want two more to round out the top 5 then you can add DWade or KG, or Tim Duncan, or Steve Nash.
No diss to you but if I had to make a team from scratch I'd be more comfortable choosing any of the afore-mentioned players as my corner stone than I would be if I chose TMac.
He's definitely one of the tops in the league but maybe top 10 or 15...not 3 or 5.

The dude can't even stay healthy enough to have a decent conversation with you, let alone give you a consistent 20 points/5 assists a game. | Man, Mcgrady is wack..overated. He can make some big shots here and there. In my opinion he's like Pau Gasol. They expect him to be a franchise player, but he needs a Kobe, he's a better second option. He should have stayed with his cousin Vince Carter (who is questionable himself, but that's another topic) |

But if I need a great scorer with no D who's guaranteed to miss at least 20 games and make it back just in time to fail to make it to the second round of the playoffs...again, I'll make sure to have TMac on speed dial ;) |
